B. Suis Moi Luminous Silk Lipstick

B. Official Makeup has recently been rebranded after a while of being away from the shelves. If you’ve never heard of B. it’s the cruelty free makeup brand by Superdrug and is vegan and vegetarian friendly.

I was kindly sent a luminous silk lipstick of theirs to test as part of the Superdrug Blog Squad. The shade I received is Suis Moi.

B. Suis Moi Lipstick
I was really pleased to get a nude pink shade as I don’t really wear many other colours. I think the packaging is quite sleek and simple as well.

The formula is described as luminous silk, it glides on the lips nicely and doesn’t feel sticky etc… The shade is quite sheer to begin with but is buildable with layers.

B. Suis Moi Lipstick Swatch

One issue I did have with this lipstick is I don’t feel it matches the shade sticker as I was expecting a more purple mauve shade. I much prefer the shade it actually is but that’s not the point so just be careful when ordering online if you haven’t seen swatches first.

I love the colour but it is transfer proof and it doesn’t really last long if you’re eating or drinking but it hasn’t put me off trying more from the range.

The lipsticks retail at £6.99 and come in a wide range of shades!

Superdrug Layering Lab Body Mists Review

Hands up who loves fragrance! I certainly do so I was pleased to receive the Layering Lab Body Mists as part of the Superdrug Blog Squad. I received mine in the scents Oriental and Cocoon.

The idea of the mists is that you can choose two from the collection (six available scents) and layer them together to create a unique scent or you can wear them individually which I think is a great concept.

Superdrug Layering Labs Body Mist
Oriental is my favourite of the two and contains the notes spice, berries and floral it also smells like Diesel Loverdose Tattoo! Cocoon has jasmine, vanilla and musk and I was less keen on this scent but purely because I’m not a vanilla fan.
I’ve never really been a body mist fan either but I can honestly say I’ve been converted and I can’t wait to try out the rest of the range! At 100ml they are perfectly handbag sized and I think the simplistic packaging is so cute.
As always with Superdrug own brands it’s cruelty free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

B. Pure Micellar Water

Ditch the wipes in favour of the B. Pure Micellar Water. It cleanes, tones and refreshes skin whilst gently removing make up.

B. Pure Micellar Water
It’s great for all skin types including very sensitive skin and best of all you can use it on Eye make up!

I’ve tried Micellar waters and face wipes in the past which have made my eyes feel sore afterwards and my skin isn’t even that sensitive but this product is great. One problem I did find with removing eye make up is that for eyeliner it did transfer it under my eye more so than removing it.

For £4.49 you get a large 400ml bottle that’s sure to last a while and currently B. Skincare is buy one get one free so why not stock up!

Superdrug Coconut Water Hydrate & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Today’s post focusses on yet another Superdrug product, I know I’m sorry but I really do love their own brand! Not only are they affordable but they are also cruelty free whilst being suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.

A firm favourite of mine lately is the Coconut Water shampoo and conditioner and if you follow my blog then you’ll know I purchased the hair masque in this range quite a while ago.

Superdrug Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner

First of all this range smells amazing! It has a lovely tropical scent which isn’t overpowering. The shampoo and conditioner are recommended for normal, dry or damaged and claims to hydrate it whilst leaving hair looking all fab and shiny. My hair I’d say is normal but with dry ends and some frizz.

After using this product religiously I can tell you my hair is always left feeling incredibly soft, I would say as well that it looks shiny but it’s not overly glossy and it reduces the frizz which we all know is a massive bonus.

It’s also really easy to wash out, I know that sounds silly but some shampoos I’ve tried in the past have just felt oily and take time to remove fully. A little really does go a long way and with the bottles being 400ml each they will last a long time.

All the items in this range cost £3.99 and are currently on offer 2 for £6.

Superdrug Refreshing Hydrogel Eye Patches

Feeling rough and need a quick way to refresh your under eyes? If you suffer with puffy eyes and dark circles then this might be the product for you!

Superdrug Hydogel Eye Patches
Within 15 minutes these hydrogel patches will stimulate the skin with sea algae and caffeine making you feel more awake, refreshed and your under eye area will be moisturised in order to hide fatigue and puffiness.

Superdrug Refreshing Hydrogel Eye Patches
To use the patches you simply take them out of the casing, peel back the one side whilst positioning on the under eye and then removing the final piece of backing to fully reveal the gel patch.
Whilst I don’t tend to suffer with puffiness I do get dark circles and find that after using these patches for 15 minutes my skin does look much brighter and feels slightly tighter.

A top tip on the sachet is to keep them in the fridge before use.

You get one set per sachet and they can only be used once but cost just £1.49.

As always Superdrug products are cruelty free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Superdrug Pick & Mix Instant Colour Sprays

Get festival ready with the Pick & Mix Instant colour sprays by Superdrug. Fancy something that lasts longer? Then why not pick a shade from the permenant and semi-permanent collection.

Superdrug Colour Sprays Pick & Mix
As part of the Superdrug Blog Squad I was kindly sent three of the sprays to test and as always an honest review will be given.

I’ll start with the my least favourite of the bunch and that is the grey colour, I really wanted to like this but on my gingery brown hair it just didn’t turn out very well.

Superdrug Pick & Mix Grey Spray
The left photo shows what it’s like with a thin layer of the product and the right is a build up of the product and as you can see from my top it goes everywhere! I feel this shade would work much better in blonde hair or in small areas of dark hair.

Superdrug Pick & Mix Blue and Purple Spray

I got on so much better with the blue and purple shade which I think look stunning when layered together, if you have long hair like me though you will need quite a few cans to cover your hair entirely.  These colours would be great for Mermaid/unicorn hair!

In order to set the colours you will need to use hairspray and to remove the colour you can brush it out or wash it away.

Please not the bright colours (blue and purple) will stain your hands but easily washes off.

There are more colours in the range and would be great for parties and festivals!

Superdrug Pick & Mix Rose Gold Hair Dye Review

Rose gold and pastel colours is a trend that’s here to stay and Superdrug has taken this on board to create a new range of hair products. The Pick & Mix features semi-permanent and permanent dyes as well as hair chalk sprays in a range of fabulous colours.

As part of a small blog squad team for Superdrug I was kindly sent the permanent Rose Gold hair dye to try out. The box colour is a beautiful ‘candy floss’ style pink which I feel if you have blonde hair then you will be able to achieve this. I had brown hair with dark blonde highlights so I didn’t really expect the colour to take to my hair and to my surprise I was left with a nice darker pink colour!

I didn’t read the box properly (rookie mistake) so I didn’t read that the dye contains hydrogen peroxide so some of my brown roots also went a pinky colour but I honestly didn’t mind this. I only used one box so if you have brown hair you can still achieve a pink look but it may take a couple of boxes to completely cover your hair.

Superdrug Pick & Mix Dye

I like this dye and I would recommend trying the range if you fancy a new hair colour, however, I did find in comparison to some other brands that this one did have a strong scent but that could have been the bleach!

A day after dying my hair it went a lighter peachy colour which was lovely and actually inspired me to try the Copper Gold colour from the collection. I’ll do another blog post for that dye but again it had peroxide in it and now my brown roots are all gone!

Unfortunately I can’t remember the exact price but it was around £3.50 and as usual with Superdrug it is 100% cruelty free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Superdrug Coconut & Orchid Body Butter Review

Tropical, exotic and creamy is one of many ways to describe the Coconut & Orchid Body Butter by Superdrug. I don’t know about you but coconut is one of my all-time favourite scents and I’m also an avid user of body butters. Having used many different brands over the years from Soap & Glory to The Body Shop, I will always come back to Superdrug.

Superdrug Coconut & Orchid Body Butter

You might be wondering why and how can an own brand product be any good? Well not only does this product smell incredible it’s also cruelty free and suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.

It comes in a large 200ml pot which lasts for 12 months after opening and can I just say how cute is the packaging, it definitely stands out on the shelf.

The butter glides on the skin, doesn’t feel greasy and absorbs into the skin fast. At just £3.99 it’s inexpensive, often on offer either buy one get one free or it’s half price. There are many other great scents to choose from in the range including Cherry & Macadamia Nuts, Lotus Flower & Cherry Blossom and many more.

If you aren’t a body butter fan you can also get some of the scents in a body scrub and body lotion.
