Sugar Crush is my absolute favourite scent by Soap & Glory and for a long time now I’ve been meaning to try the body scrub. I’ve already tried the body butter and body wash which I love!
This 50ml is from a gift set, I’m not 100% sure if you can buy this separately but if you can the travel size items cost around £3; the full size is 300ml and costs £8. The packaging is simple and stands out and comes in the form of a screw top pot.
The scrub smells fresh and divine, it’s a mixture of brown sugar, sea salt, lemon and sweet lime. It is thicker than other scrubs I’ve used but it isn’t a problem as it still glides on the skin and a little goes a long way.
After use my skin felt soft, there was no irritation and it wasn’t drying. The scrub isn’t harsh so it can be used frequently but if you want a deeper exfoliation then you may want to try the Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em body buff.
I would definitely recommend giving this a try and picking up Sugar Crush gift sets, there’s no better scent!
Time for another skincare review and todays product of choice is one I’ve been loving lately and its the Soap & Glory Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em body buff. I have the 50ml pot which retails as £2.50 but you can get the huge 300ml pot for £8.
Firstly this body buff smells amazing it contains Babassu Oil, Sea Salt and is scented with their Mist You Madly body mist. It is a great exfoliator and feels rougher than any other body scrubs I have previously tried, however, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it didn’t feel scratchy but if you have sensitive skin it might not be for you.
I also think it would be perfect to add into a tanning routine as it leaves your skin feeling very smooth and exfoliated after use with no need to moisturise.
A slight issue with this scrub is it does collect in the bottom of the shower rather than washing away completely. If you are unsure whether or not to give this a try then I definitely recommend picking up a travel size.
“At Soap & Glory, we absolutely do not test our formulations on animals, however we can’t say that each and every ingredient that goes into them has not, at some point historically, been cleared for human use, by animal testing.” (Soapandglory.com)
I loved this product and would have no problems with purchasing a full size.
Welcome back Soap & Glory fans, today’s post consists of the cute trio of butters set. Included in the set is the classic The Righteous Butter, a signature Soap and Glory piece, Sugar Crush and Smoothie Star.
The set was part of the Christmas collection for Boots and originally retailed for £8, it’s now on the half price sale if you are lucky enough to bag one in-store.
The packaging is quite quirky and girly and is great for a gift or to keep for yourself.
The butters are the miniature (50ml) so are perfect for testing out before committing to the full size or for travel.
My favourite scent is the Sugar Crush which is lime, Smoothie Star smells like almonds and The Righteous Butter is scented with their Original Pink scent.
What’s your favourite body butter?
Philip Colbert the designer of Rodnik collaborated with Soap and Glory to create ‘It’s the Whole She-Bang’. The design inspired by Pop Art features all over the large bag filled with popular Soap and Glory goodies.
I managed to purchase the bag from Boots on the Star Gift other, after a lot of deliberation I finally took the plunge as I’d never actually used the brand before.
The bag includes 9 items for head to toe beauty…
What’s in the bag?
- Scrub Of Your Life
- The Righteous Butter: Sunkissed Tint Body Lotion
- Hand Food
- Heel Genius
- Peaches and Clean: Deep Cleansing Milk
- The Righteous Butter
- Thick and Fast Mascara
- Sexy Mother-Pucker: Rose and Shine
As you can see there’s a great selection of full sized products (minus the make up).
For my first real experience of Soap and Glory I am pleased with all the items minus the Sunkissed Tint but that is because I don’t use any fake tan related products.
I fell in love with the brand and cant wait to try more things in the future!
