Revolution Pro Regeneration Mischief Mattes Palette Review

The Revolution Pro Mischief Mattes palette is packed full of colour for fun bold looks. It retails for £8 and contains 18 shades, I was kindly sent one to review for the Superdrug Blog Squad. Revolution Pro Mischief Mattes PaletteFirst of all I have to admit this is not a palette I would have chosen for myself due to the bold colours and the fact it’s all mattes as I prefer warm tones and shimmer.

Some of the colours aren’t as bold as I thought they would be but they do build up nicely and blend easily. They might apply better with an eyeshadow primer as a few colours weren’t looking the best after a full day of wear.

This palette would be great for a makeup kit, festival, holiday or even for a bold everyday look. I love that the shade names are now printed on the palette, it’s also cruelty free and suitable for vegans!

Revolution Pro Blur Stick Universal Face Primer

Hey everyone today’s post is another item from Revolution Pro which was kindly sent to me for the Superdrug Blog Squad. The Blur Stick Universal Face Primer is absolutely massive so it is difficult to get coverage all over the face so I tend to rub it on my fingers to be able to apply it to my nose etc…

Revolution Pro Blur Stick Universal Face Primer

It doesn’t come out with a colour on the face even though it looks like a foundation shade, it did make my face feel smooth but I personally prefer other primers with a gel like/moisturising consistency. Whilst it didn’t fully eliminate my pores it did reduce them and gave my base a matte finish so if you prefer a more dewy look then this primer is not for you. Personally I wouldn’t re-purchase this primer when it runs out as I feel there are better ones out there which are cheaper and easier to apply.

This primer is 30g and retails for £10, it is also vegan is cruelty free.

Revolution Pro 4K Highlighter Palette Gold First Impressions

This month I was kindly sent a Revolution Pro bundle to review for the Superdrug Blog Squad. Revolution Pro is I believe the takeover of the Freedom brand.

Revolution Pro 4k Highlighter Palette and Swatches

I was really excited to receive a highlighter palette as who doesn’t love a highlighter? I was surprised to see how ‘bold’ the colours are as I would have associated them with eyeshadows instead of highlighters but they are really gorgeous colours.

For £8 you get four large pans in a cardboard casing which I think makes the palette look quite cheap as I would have preferred a plastic case and you don’t get a mirror.

The colours although they look great when swatched they are rather glittery on the face which I wasn’t a fan of personally, they are pigmented just very heavy on the glitter.

I wouldn’t recommend this as I feel for £8 and even under you can get much better highlighters from the Drugstore. This palette is cruelty free and vegan.
