Makeup Revolution Solid Brush Cleaner hit or miss? Carry on reading to find out my full first impression!
First of all it costs £5 for a 100ml tub so it should last for a while and the packaging is pretty basic. One thing I didn’t like is that the instructions is stuck on with a sticky label which is already peeling off.
It’s pretty simple to use and handy to travel with as it isn’t very bulky. It is basically a pot of soap through that expires 12 months after opening.
From first impressions I was surprised at how well it removed harsh pink eyeshadow tones from the brushes with just one use.
An observation I found is that it cleaned my EcoTools foundation brushes much better than my Real Techniques ones but it still didn’t remove all of the product.
It cleans eyeshadow brushes very quickly and removes all traces of products but face brushes take much longer and it’s not guaranteed you’ll get a fully clean brush.
Overall I think the product works fine but it didn’t really impress me, had it throughly cleaned my face brushes then I’d be recommending it but it isn’t anything special and if you have a bar of soap already at home then it will do the same job.
