e.l.f Mint Maniac Lip Exfoliator Review

e.l.f (eyes. lips. face) has recently re-launched back in the UK and is available to buy from Superdrug, I’ve always wanted to try this brand in the past and never got around to doing so.  The first product I’ve decided to try is the Mint Maniac Lip Exfoliator or Scrub, whichever you prefer to call it.

“Gently exfoliate lips to remove dry, chapped skin with our Lip Exfoliator! A sweet sugar and smoothing sensation, infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to nourish and protect. This Lip Exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel.” (eyeslipsface.co.uk)

E.L.F Lip Scrub

Firstly the exfoliator comes in three different scents/flavours; Mint Maniac, Sweet Cherry and Clear. (There’s a few more choices on the official website) They cost £4.50 each and come in the sleek packaging shown above.  One negative about the packaging is it’s quite bulky for the actual product and doesn’t seem overly necessary.

E.L.F Mint ManiacThe exfoliator is easy to use due to its lipstick shape, just dampen your lips, scrub in circular motions and wipe away the excess product before applying a balm.  It does have a minty tingle without being overpowering at the same time and tastes quite nice!

The scrub itself isn’t harsh which is always a bonus, I found it worked well from the first use and I would recommend it if you get dry lips or apply lip products on a regular basis. For the tiny price tag of £4.50 you cant really go wrong with it.

e.l.f cosmetics are hypoallergenic and cruelty free!
