e.l.f Lock on Liner and Brow Cream Review

This month I was kindly sent an e.l.f package by Superdrug to review so to kick things off I thought I’d review the Lock on Liner and Brow Cream. I was kindly sent the shade Medium Brown which is perfect for me as I have medium-dark brown hair, on the Superdrug website there was only one other shade which was called Expresso so if you have light eyebrows you may need to search the store for your shade or order off the e.l.f website.

e.l.f Lock on Liner and Brow Cream Medium Brown

I have tested this purely as a brow cream as I don’t really wear eyeliner but it is very creamy and pigmented. I found on my brows it looked more of a darker brown than medium so if you have light-medium brows then this will probably be too dark for you as it doesn’t really match the shade in the pot once applied.

I have only used one other brow cream which is by the now discontinued Freedom range but you can still get brow creams from Revolution, I found this e.l.f one to be much easier to use and if I’d had this first I probably wouldn’t have tried the Freedom one.

The formula is very creamy so you only need a small amount on your brush, it also doesn’t budge or smudge which is always a bonus for your brows and would be a great eyeliner if you wanted a brown liner instead of black.

It is a more pigmented cream so I would say it is better for ‘Instagram’ brows rather than natural looking brows but if you did want natural looking brows you could probably get away with being very sparse with the product.

It only costs £5 so is super affordable and worth giving a try and would be a great alternative to the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomades. e.l.f is also cruelty free and suitable for Vegans.

Watch out for more e.l.f beauty reviews!
