Revolution Pro 4K Highlighter Palette Gold First Impressions

This month I was kindly sent a Revolution Pro bundle to review for the Superdrug Blog Squad. Revolution Pro is I believe the takeover of the Freedom brand.

Revolution Pro 4k Highlighter Palette and Swatches

I was really excited to receive a highlighter palette as who doesn’t love a highlighter? I was surprised to see how ‘bold’ the colours are as I would have associated them with eyeshadows instead of highlighters but they are really gorgeous colours.

For £8 you get four large pans in a cardboard casing which I think makes the palette look quite cheap as I would have preferred a plastic case and you don’t get a mirror.

The colours although they look great when swatched they are rather glittery on the face which I wasn’t a fan of personally, they are pigmented just very heavy on the glitter.

I wouldn’t recommend this as I feel for £8 and even under you can get much better highlighters from the Drugstore. This palette is cruelty free and vegan.

Soph x Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette

Welcome back to part two of the Soph x Makeup Revolution collection, todays edition is my thoughts on the highlighter palette, if you haven’t checked out the first part which is the eyeshadow palette then you can read it here.

Soph X Highlighter Palette

I absolutely love Soph’s videos and Makeup Revolution so its a match made in heaven, it would be nice if she created more products in the future!

The highlighter palette packaging is quite simple with its peachy coloured box, window view and rose gold writing. Unfortunately there couldn’t be any shade names due to the window but it’d be interesting to know what they would have been called.

Soph X Highlighters

The highlighters consist of eight stunning shades four baked and two pressed, again this palette is aimed at all skin tones so whilst its not possible to use all of them as highlighters the remaining shades will make great eyeshadows.

Soph X Highlighter Swatches

Apologies for the swatches not being the best they are extremely pigmented in the flesh! I adore the purple shade and even though I wont be able to use the bronze shades they would look gorgeous on deeper skin tones and as eyeshadows.

For £8 you get a large palette with a selection of different shades to match most skin tones.

Available at Superdrug, Tam Beauty and coming soon to Ulta.
