The Body Shop Rich Plum Hand Cream Review

It’s been a while since I’ve posted so what better way to start a new year than with a new post.

As part of the 2019 Festive range Rich Plum has became a firm favourite of mine from The Body Shop. This lightweight hand cream could be purchased separately (£5) or as part of the festive sack gift set (£16).

I’m not usually a hand cream fan as I hate it when they feel greasy but this one sinks in instantly, has a lovely smell and a little goes a long way.

It’s the perfect size to keep in your bag, there’s a wide range of scents to choose from and its cruelty free, I’m not sure if it’s Vegan as it doesn’t say so I’ve inserted a photo of the ingredients.

My hands don’t get overly dry so I can’t comment on if it’s good for very dry skin but it does leave my hands feeling lovely and soft.

It’s currently half price in the sale so check your local store!

Superdrug Oat & Coconut Range Review

The new Superdrug Oat & Coconut range is designed for sensitive and dry skin and retails for £5.99.

The products were kindly sent to me to review for the Superdrug Blog Squad.

Superdrug Oat & Coconut Range

The range smells better than I expected as I’m not keen on Aveeno products with the oatmeal scent.

My favourite product is the oil enriched cream, it doesn’t feel greasy and dries down quickly. My partner also used this product on a burn and it cleared it up and made that area less sensitive.

The Daily Lotion also dries down quick and is perfect to use for a light moisturizer.

I am not really a fan of hand creams and I did find this one to be slightly greasy but if you do suffer with dry or cracked skin in the Winter then it may be worth trying. It retails for £4.99.

Overall I do like this range and feel it would be a great alternative to Aveeno for a much more affordable price.

As always with Superdrug it is cruelty free and vegan.

Leafy & Lovely Hand Lotion Review

Leafy & Lovely are an exclusive brand to Superdrug and can be found in the Christmas gift aisle. Items range from bath to hand to homeware products. I picked up the hand cream to try which is in a 100ml bottle and cost £2.

The scent is quite pleasant and fruity, it isn’t overpowering and has a ‘zesty boost’ from grapefruit and lime for a citrus scent. The product overall smells quite fresh and the hand lotion itself has a good consistency and isn’t too heavy or runny like some creams can be. I adore the packaging as it’s quite simplistic but fun and as the brand states lovely.

It is cruelty free which is always a bonus and the 100ml bottle is sure to last throughout Winter! Although the size isn’t exactly compact for travel it is still a great item to use at home as your hands are left feeling so soft thanks to the element of shea butter.

I hadn’t heard of this brand until recently and wondered why as the products smell great and have a nice small price tag; whether you are buying for yourself or a friend I definitely recommend you pop to Superdrug and pick up this brand!

Unfortunately this brand is only available at Christmas.
