The Revolution Pro Mischief Mattes palette is packed full of colour for fun bold looks. It retails for £8 and contains 18 shades, I was kindly sent one to review for the Superdrug Blog Squad.First of all I have to admit this is not a palette I would have chosen for myself due to the bold colours and the fact it’s all mattes as I prefer warm tones and shimmer.
Some of the colours aren’t as bold as I thought they would be but they do build up nicely and blend easily. They might apply better with an eyeshadow primer as a few colours weren’t looking the best after a full day of wear.
This palette would be great for a makeup kit, festival, holiday or even for a bold everyday look. I love that the shade names are now printed on the palette, it’s also cruelty free and suitable for vegans!
Instantly energise and awaken your skin with the B. Vitalised Vitamin Facial Spritz. It contains Caffeine, Vitamin C and Cucumber Juices to boost skins radiance with a healthy glow. I believe this product only launched this year but I was kindly sent it to review for the Superdrug Blog Squad.
This is the first facial spritz I have tried as I have never really been interested in using them before, it is a really nice spritz that doubles up as a makeup setter and it does not soak you when you spray it on your face and doesn’t take too long to dry.
I have mainly used it for setting my makeup and I have found that it stops my skin from getting oily and my makeup looks great throughout the day, usually my foundation will look oily around my t-zone if it isn’t set with this spray.
You can use this spritz pretty much whenever you like so it comes in a handy 75ml bottle which you can just keep in your handbag. It is suitable for all skin types and I have found that the product is lasting quite well and wont need re-purchasing for a while. I think it will make a great addition to anybody going to festivals this year or even if you’re going on holiday as it has a cooling sensation.
It retails for £7.99 (currently buy one get one free) is cruelty free and suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.
Get festival ready with the Pick & Mix Instant colour sprays by Superdrug. Fancy something that lasts longer? Then why not pick a shade from the permenant and semi-permanent collection.
As part of the Superdrug Blog Squad I was kindly sent three of the sprays to test and as always an honest review will be given.
I’ll start with the my least favourite of the bunch and that is the grey colour, I really wanted to like this but on my gingery brown hair it just didn’t turn out very well.
The left photo shows what it’s like with a thin layer of the product and the right is a build up of the product and as you can see from my top it goes everywhere! I feel this shade would work much better in blonde hair or in small areas of dark hair.
I got on so much better with the blue and purple shade which I think look stunning when layered together, if you have long hair like me though you will need quite a few cans to cover your hair entirely. These colours would be great for Mermaid/unicorn hair!
In order to set the colours you will need to use hairspray and to remove the colour you can brush it out or wash it away.
Please not the bright colours (blue and purple) will stain your hands but easily washes off.
There are more colours in the range and would be great for parties and festivals!
