Looking for an exfoliator that’s all natural, cruelty free and suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians?
It may sound impossible but look no further, the Superdrug Vitamin E Gentle Oatmeal Exfoliator delivers all of that for £2.99. It’s packed with multivitamins A, B, E, F & H to replenish dry skin and protect it from premature ageing and environmental damage.
This scrub like the name suggests is gentle on the skin and doesn’t contain micro-beads like some of the leading brands on the market. My skin type is combination and I find that this exfoliator mattifies my skin without drying it out, it also leaves my face feeling clean, refreshed and smooth to the touch.
A little of this scrub goes a long way meaning the 100ml tube will last a while!
Whilst it may not smell the best due to containing oats and chestnuts and it does leave a slight mess in the sink, I would recommend it to anybody who is after a gentle scrub. With most scrubs you can’t really use them more than once a week due to the harshness of the micro-beads but with this one you can use it more often.
This is just one of many products in the Vitamin E range and is aimed at consumers with normal-dry skin.
With so many skincare products on the market its hard to choose which brand to go for, what you may need in your daily routine and how often you should use the products in question.
Well the Sanctuary Spa CLEANSE Radiance Exfoliator is perfect for all skin types, the gentle scrub reveals “smoother, brighter & healthy looking skin” or so it states on the tube and I have to agree that the product is great!
I’ve only ever used body scrubs by this brand so when I received this mini facial scrub (15ml) in a Christmas gift set last year I was excited to give it a go. Whilst admittedly it isn’t the most attractive looking scrub it smells gorgeous and left my skin feeling soft and wasn’t drying.
The scrub is gentle enough to use 2-3 times per week and as stated before its fine on all skin types, I have combination oily skin and I haven’t found any problems with it.
On the back of the packaging it does state that the product is not tested on animals, however, there isn’t the leaping bunny logo and it does not state whether it is vegetarian or vegan friendly so you would have to check the ingredients carefully before purchasing.
The full size bottle (100ml) usually retails at around £10 and can be purchased from Boots or the Sanctuary Spa website. The only criticism I could have for the exfoliator is that the packaging of the trial size does not match with the full size bottle, so if you were to forget the name for it and went out looking for the matching packaging then you could miss out or buy the wrong item.
Overall I would recommend this product, a little goes a long way so its sure to last which therefore makes the £10 price tag worth it.
